In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, many families are on either a mandatory or voluntary quarantine.   Direct, in person, early intervention services to children within the autism spectrum have either stopped or are minimally available, leaving many families waiting with no real timeline.

The Alcanzando team quickly jumped into action, and implemented a Parent Coaching Program via Telepractice, looking to teach parents whose children are at risk, or diagnosed with autism the skills necessary to facilitate the acquisition of language, communication and social skills.  This would includes a week long of daily training sessions, followed by 2 weekly coaching sessions with family

This program has allowed children to gain these much needed skills and not loose that early intervention window, in spite of the restrictions the Covid-19 crisis has placed on our communities.
